River Thames Boat Project

In 2025 I took on a part-time role as Fundraising Manager for small charity, River Thames Boat Project (RTBP) alongside my freelance work; and worked on a variety of grant applications from various Trusts & Foundations, as well as community fundraising projects and individual giving from the community for their two main programme strands: education and respite care.

Established in 1988, the charity’s mission is to make the Thames accessible to all. Using two fully wheelchair-accessible community boats, RTBP deliver educational programmes for children and young people across London and the South East, and therapeutic cruises for people who have limited access to the Thames due to health issues, disabilities, isolation or social exclusion.
