Emma Gatrill
I was introduced to Emma Gatrill & Marcus Hamblett - whose paths, we worked out, may well have crossed in my previous lifetime as in-house booker for The Boileroom; and our respective work promoting and playing for the likes of Lucy Rose, Rozi Plain, and This is The Kit - it’s a small world!
We secured £3000 from Help Musicians Recording & Releasing grant programme so that Emma’s third album, Come Swim, releasing via Wilkommen Records in November 2023; can finally be heard (and universally loved, I have no doubt) by the world.
